Jeremy Brett’s Sherlock and Sidney Paget’s illustration.

Beautifully done, right down to the suit he’s wearing.

    1989 interview with Edward Hardwicke {x}

    —“There was a time when people would say, ‘How do you enjoy playing Holmes?’ and I would say, ‘I wouldn’t cross the street to meet him’. I then discovered that, of course, I meant that he wouldn’t cross the street to meet me.”  (1991 NPR interview)

    MORE SHERLOCK SEATTLE POSTCARDS!

    This just in! Today I woke up to a wonderful surprise - early postcard art! And even better, although I had only requested three postcards from ireallyshouldbedrawing, she made us four!!

    I really am in seventh heaven over these! I adore how subtle the Seattle references are, the color schemes, pretty much everything, really.

    Remember, if you have a VIP Membership to Sherlock Seattle, all of these postcards will be yours! And if you can’t make it to the convention, but still want them, they’ll be available as a reward for making a donation to the convention. Drop by our website to get your membership today or check back in a few weeks for information on how to get postcards!

    Aww my babies! I won’t be able to attend I’m so jealous of you guys

Another commission from Emerald City Comicon: Sherlock Holmes contemplates Irene Adler.
This was sufficiently fun that it makes me wonder if I should adapt a Holmes story one of these days. A Scandal in Bohemia is pretty irresistible (although it’s a long one!).

Holmes is a bit on edge in ‘The Final Problem’ and briefly takes refuge in Watson’s kitchen.  Being chased by assassins will do that to a man.
